		<description>Dear all,

Please, kindly send me a paper on the semantics of the REA UML profile as implemented. I have already imported the profile into EA and I am using it to develop the conceptual information model of a wood waste recycling project in my local community. The objective of this work is to develop a Microsoft Access application to support the business processes of this social enterprise.
Thank you in anticipation.

kind regards

		<description>Dear all,

I am pleased with the collaboration with Prof. McCarthy to develop the UML Profile for REA in Sparxsystems EA.I have read about the method from various Accounting Information Systems (AIS) textbooks without the means of using the model in a practical way.

The strenght of REA is the ability to link the business value chain to the conceptual information model in a transparent way. It therefore fills an important gap in the UMM methodology - strategic information planning, a requirement to develop information standards for information exchange.

kind regards
